About this album

“demo lition” is the very first album release from the hard-rockin Mad Ants. “Shooting Spree” was an instant hit with fans and critics. It set the tone for all future albums, in that there are no boundaries on what style of music they may tackle. What you get with The Mad Ants are two intense guitar parts, bass and drums, and a vocal unique as the band itself. There’s something about the combined guitar work of Joel Justin and Ben Garcia that gives you the feeling that they can carry the song on their own… but it’s so much better when they carry it together. Songs are filled with beautiful accidentals, where two or three notes collide but make for an unexplainable chord. The hard-pounding rhythm section of drummer Clyde Preston Selsor and bassist Dan Peters are joined at the hip (if you get the meaning) and make dropped beats and unusual time signatures sound like it’s in 4/4. Also found on demolition are two punked-up reimagined popular songs, “I think we’re alone now” and “Stepping Stone”. This is rock. Mad Ants style.
