Rick Scobey’s “Memories” was a 50 year work in progress. A Northwest Indiana musician who has been a face and voice in the local club scene for the majority of his life. He had secretly been writing songs all this time, but not until retirement age did he buckle down and record his gems the way he felt they should be presented; as an organic sound, void of the trapping of electronic modifications. “Memories” is a throwback to good old rock & roll analog recording.
